The MSA Trust’s Local Hub is a resource tool for information about local services and support. You can search within your local area for services that other people affected by MSA, or their carers, have found helpful. The list of services is created with input by our members, who supply the Trust with the information. It is a way of ‘tapping’ in to the vast amount of knowledge built up by our members and promotes a community of supporting each other.
The Support Group section contains information about our network of groups located throughout the UK and Ireland. It contains updates about previous meetings, news and details of upcoming events. It is a place to find out about the fantastic support our groups offer.
This area is about your chance to campaign for better services for people with MSA and their carers. The Neurological Alliance is building an England-wide network of Regional Neurological Alliances (RNA), which will bring together service users, carers, staff and volunteers and health professionals to campaign for better services.
The MSA Trust
The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK’s support and information service for people with multiple system atrophy, their families and carers. It also funds research into the treatment and causes of MSA and works to raise awareness of the disease among the health care community.
The Trust provides a telephone and email helpline staffed by MSA Specialist Nurses. It also offers information fact sheets on various aspects of MSA and has a growing network of local support groups which provide the opportunity to meet up with other people and share knowledge and support.
